GoodGym is a community of runners that combines getting fit with doing good.
In gyms all over the country people all over Britain work away furiously; peddling, pushing, lifting, running and achieving no external benefits. GoodGym aims to harness this energy by making it easier for people to channel this energy towards social good, through group runs, missions and visits to older people.
During the pandemic, GoodGym is providing deliveries for vulnerable people (including those under 60) and basic tasks for hospital discharge and home safety- so as a volunteer runner, this is something you could get involved with.
While COVID-19 means that group runs and face-to-face visits are on hold, you can still take in community missions as an individual, with someone from your household, or keeping 2m apart from another runner.
